The short film Lea e il Fenicottero had its world premiere at the 41st Rhode Island International Film Festival. The Festival has secured its place on the global scene as one of the most prestigious US showcases for international independent cinema. It is a qualifying event for the short film categories at the Academy Awards and the BAFTA. The short film was selected from over 7050 submitted films from 98 countries.
Lea e il Fenicottero directed by Antonio De Palo, with Vittoria Schisano, Maria di Biase and the extraordinary participation of Lidia Vitale, Michele Sinisi and Vito Signorile, is produced by Beagle Media, Assedio Film and Open Mind and has obtained the contribution of Apulia Film Commission, Campania Film Commission and private companies.
